Data Platform

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a robust data platform architecture that supports data-driven initiatives, including artificial intelligence, across the enterprise.
• Build, manage, and mentor a group of engineering and data science team members.
• Evaluate and select appropriate data tools based on business requirements, technical considerations, and enterprise goals.
• Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of the data platform infrastructure.
• Drive data integrations to consolidate data from disparate sources that flow into the centralized platform.
• Partner with data scientists to enable advanced analytics and machine learning capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field.
• 15+ years of experience in data engineering and at least 7 years leading data engineering teams.
• Strong grasp of data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficient with various data engineering tools and technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, SQL, NoSQL databases).
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform and knowledge of AWS data-related services including machine learning and artificial intelligence capabilities.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Microstrategy, etc.)
