TEKsystems is partnered with a software company in Raleigh that needs to hire a Data Engineer for their flagship product, LexisNexis® Legal & Professional, a leading global provider of information and analytics. Recently LexisNexis has focused on the general availability of Lexis+ AI™ for U.S. customers, a generative AI solution designed to transform legal work. Lexis+ AI delivers trusted results in a familiar, easy-to-use interface with linked hallucination-free legal citations that combine the power of generative AI with proprietary LexisNexis search technology, Shepard’s® Citations functionality, and authoritative content.

Software Engineering Requirements

3+ years of professional experience in Python development
Strong understanding of Python best practices and design patterns
Experience building scalable, production-ready REST APIs
Knowledge of API design, testing and documentation
Experience with Python web frameworks like Flask and FastAPI
Familiarity with AWS services and infrastructure
Experience with CI/CD best practices and familiarity with Jenkins, Git, and Azure DevOps
Ability to quickly ramp up and contribute to an existing codebase
Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with internal
