We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Scientist to join our innovative team and leverage cutting-edge Generative AI (Gen AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs) on the Microsoft Azure platform. In this role, the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying data pipelines and Gen AI/LLM models to unlock valuable insights and drive business transformation

Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement robust data pipelines on Azure for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and delivery to Gen AI/LLM models.
Develop and train Gen AI/LLM models using Azure Machine Learning services like Azure Databricks and Azure ML.
Utilize expertise in prompt engineering to fine-tune LLMs for specific tasks and applications.
Evaluate and monitor the performance of Gen AI/LLM models, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders to ensure models align with business needs.
Stay current on the latest advancements in Gen AI/LLM research and development.
Document and present findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Azure Machine Learning services (Azure Databricks, Azure ML, Azure Data factory, Azure webapp services, and Azure AI services).
Experience with cloud-based data storage solutions (Azure Data Lake Storage, Blob storage, Azure SQL).
Experience with model interpretability and fairness considerations.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar role.
Proven experience in designing and implementing data pipelines on cloud platforms (Azure).
In-depth knowledge of machine learning fundamentals and experience with deep learning frameworks.
Strong understanding of Generative AI concepts and experience with Large Language Models (LLMs).
Proficiency in programming languages like Python and familiarity with tools like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
