Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated data scientist to join our dynamic team. The
ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, machine learning, and
statistical modelling. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop data-
driven solutions that drive business insights and improve decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Develop and implement machine learning models to solve complex business problems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them
into data-driven solutions
- Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Continuously improve data collection and analysis processes

 

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data science, computer science, statistics, or a related
field
- Proven experience in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modelling
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects
simultaneously

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Machine learning (Pyspark, sklearn, TensorFlow, Keras).
- Experimentation (Pyspark, statistics expertise, optimizely, etc.)
