Responsibilities:

o Administering or implementing the monitoring tools in accordance with an agreed technical design

o Report customization as required by customer using Operations Bridge Reporter (OBR)

o Able to utilize the output of OBM or APM tools to trouble shoot application performance issues

o Be able to perform deep dive analysis of application performance issues from application code to infrastructure and network topology

o Troubleshooting and support for OBM or APM related issues.

Required Tools Experience

o APM/BSM Suite (BPM, RUM, EUM, SLM, RTSM, Sitescope)

o OBM (OBR, uCMDB, Operations Agent, Cloud management packs for AWS and Azure)

o NNMi

o Cloud Optimizer

o Diagnostics

Desired Experiences

o Knowledge and hands on experience of distributed architecture and implementation of APM and OBM.

o Event and Toplogy integration of Microfocus tools using BSM Connectors

o Detailed knowledge of customized monitoring configuration

o Integrating Microfocus tools with 3rd party ticketing tools like SNOW

o Operations Agent Installation, configuration, policies, event co-relation, suppression, forwarding etc.

o Operating Systems experience with HPUX, Linux, Windows system administration & RDBMS

o Experience with and/or technical knowledge of building APIs and content delivery

o Working with and maintaining application log file repositories and monitoring tools

o Configuring BPM monitors using multiple Vugen scripting protocols

o High level familiarity with application architectures ranging from client server to mainframe

o Detailed exposure of custom OM monitoring for various applications, integrations and server parameters.

o Knowledge and hands on experience of data center related scenarios

Soft Skill Requirements:

o Self-motivated to meet deadlines while collaborating effectively as part of a larger team

o Strong organizational skills, including the ability to balance multiple projects and manage time efficiently

o Solid communication skills (written and oral)

Education Requirements:

o Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, or similar field

o 5+ years of experience with MicroFocus APM/OBM product suites
