Job Title: Database Administrator
Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:
·       Provide critical production support for DB2, SQL Server, and Teradata applications.
·       Upgrade DB2 z/OS to the latest supported version.
·       Install and configure Always on HA and DR with multiple nodes on Windows Server Failover Clustering.
·       Coordinate upgrade activities with DAS/OIT, vendors, and application development teams.
·       Conduct performance tuning for the database system and applications on both z/OS and Windows platforms.
·       Assist project teams with technical solutions related to database administration.
·       Lead data modelling efforts for new applications and enhancements.
·       Train junior DBAs in database technology and best practices.
·       Respond to and resolve "production down" and critical system and application problems and issues on a 24-hour basis.
·       Create Root Cause Analysis for incidents and implement measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Qualifications:
·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
·       Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Database Administrator, with expertise in DB2, SQL Server, and Teradata.
·       Extensive experience with DB2 z/OS, including upgrading to the latest supported version.
·       Proven experience in installing and configuring Always On HA and DR solutions with multiple nodes on Windows Server Failover Clustering.
·       Strong background in performance tuning for database systems and applications.
·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate activities with various stakeholders.
·       Experience leading data modeling efforts and providing technical guidance to project teams.
·       Ability to respond to and resolve critical system and application issues on a 24-hour basis.
