Database Administrator

Job Description:

• This position requires hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications.
• Proven working experience as a Database Administrator.
• Experience providing support for Oracle RDBMS, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Linux RedHat, Ellucian Banner, and a variety of ancillary systems that support Banner.
• Excellent experience with design and development of database triggers, tables, schemas, objects, stored procedures and SQL scripting.
• Ability to plan and manage the integration and implementation of new technology, solving highly technical and complex problems while guiding and providing the direction for projects through completion.
• Knowledge of new or existing technologies to develop solutions.
• Skills in written and oral communications.
• Ability to deal with multiple priorities, to promote teamwork and work independently.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with others.

Skills:
 

• Experience with installing, configuring, patching, and maintaining database management servers and software.
• Excellent experience with SQL scripting
• Demonstrated experience in analysis and development of Applications and experience with Ellucian Banner ERP System
• Experience with Linux RedHat and Shell Scripting
