Responsibilities:
- Perform network cabling tasks including installation, termination, and testing of cables in data center environments.
- Configure and set up RACKs in data centers according to industry standards and best practices.
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to server installations and configurations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of servers and networking equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, equipment installations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends related to data center infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in network cabling, RACK setup, and server installation in data center environments.
- Strong proficiency in Linux operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of OpenStack and GPU technologies is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for data center operations and infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Linux (e.g., LPIC, CompTIA Linux+).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks
