Datadog Specialist
Capgemini Engineering is looking for a Datadog Specialist to support a Wireless Network Operator in Denver, CO. The job requires candidates that or local only or willing to relocate to Denver, CO.
Job Summary

The candidate is responsible for understanding and analyzing the provisioning and activations systems in a mobile network operator’s BSS/OSS and the various interfaces to 3rd party applications that are in AWS cloud. The candidate is required to use Datadog as an application performance monitoring tool and prepare appropriate reports as required by the Operations support team.

Required Qualifications:

•BS / MS in the area of Computer Science or any engineering stream that gives relevant exposure to the requirements
•3-10 years of experience as an engineer in cloud infrastructures, software development or data analysis where monitoring tools such as Datadog or Splunk are utilized
•Experience in working with any industry where data analytics tools such as Cloudwatch, Datadog are used and experience in configuration of the alarms and reporting
•High level knowledge of AWS EC2, ECS/EKS, Kubernetes, Microservices, Docker etc.
•Certification in AWS is not mandatory but desired
•Experience in SAFe Agile methodologies is desired
•Experience in log analytics, Applications Performance Monitoring, infrastructure, and fault monitoring and analysis
•Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
•Ability to work independently with little or no mentoring
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Excellent documentation skills are desired
