Datastage Develooper

𝑨𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒐𝒍𝒆:
As a Datastage Developer, you'll play a crucial role in supporting ongoing enhancement and project workstreams in our Enterprise Data Warehouse team. You'll utilize your extensive experience in Datastage development and PL/SQL development to handle data migration, code conversions, and support data integration processes.

𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔:
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand data integration requirements and system functionalities.
- Develop and implement Datastage solutions to migrate data from legacy systems to the target platform.
- Perform code conversions and enhancements to ensure seamless integration and functionality of merged banking systems.
- Monitor data integration processes and troubleshoot any issues or discrepancies encountered.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of Datastage jobs to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Work closely with the data modeling team to optimize data structures and improve system performance.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of Datastage processes, job designs, and data flows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and successful delivery.

𝑺𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝑹𝒆𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong experience in Datastage development, including solid knowledge of hashtag#ETL concepts and Datastage Job Design.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL development, with a strong understanding of Oracle database structures and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of data migration and code conversion processes in the banking or hashtag#financial services industry.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with hashtag#banking systems and processes is preferred.
- Certification in Datastage or PL/ hashtag#SQL is an added advantage.
