DataStage Developer

·        8+ years of IT experience focusing on Data warehousing, Data modeling, Data integration, Data Migration, ETL process and Business Intelligence

·        Expertise in DataStage ETL and reporting tools. Deep understanding of the Data Warehousing SDLC and architecture of ETL, reporting and BI tools

·        Strong experience in Cognos BI tools using Cognos Framework Manager, Report studio and Query studio

·        Strong experience in creating and publishing packages in Framework Manager

·        Experience in creating List Reports, Crosstab Reports, Chart Reports, Summary Reports, Burst Reports, Drill-Down and Drill-Through Reports.

·        Experience in Oracle, Greenplum and SQL Server databases

·        Experience in developing stored procedures, functions, Views and Triggers, Complex queries using SQL Server, TSQL and Oracle PL/SQL

·        Tuning database queries using various tuning techniques

·        Strong understanding of dimensional modeling of Star Schemas, Snow-Flake Schemas Methodologies.

·        Experience in extracting data from source systems, transforming and loading into Greenplum database

·        Created data mapping documents and low level/high level ETL design documents

·        Experience with design and implementation of ETL/ELT framework for complex warehouses/marts.

·        Design, analysis, Implementation, Testing and support of ETL/ELT processes

·        Interacted with Customers for requirement gathering, effective analysis and also to provide end-user training

·        Good Data Analysis and communication skills

·        Excellent oral and written communication skills.

·        Ability to work independently and exercise a high degree of initiative to accomplish tasks and solve problems

·        Certification in ETL and BI tools is plus
