Title Deal Desk Manager Contractor

Responsibilities

1.       Review, manage, and approve pricing DSR for Emerging & Small/ Medium Market deals on

behalf of Strategic Business Practices Management in a timely manner

2.       Manage communications with sales reps and deliver approval/rejection context

3.       Handle daily quote approval process, non-standard deal requirements and deal review

cycle.

4.       Partner in a trusted adviser capacity to Sales Managers and other internal stakeholders

5.       Analyze incoming deals along review criteria (both quantitative and qualitative)

6.        Work closely with Finance, Legal and Operations department to optimize contract terms

and close deals

Required Skills/Experience

• Candidates with procurement/purchasing or consulting background are highly welcome
• Strong analytical skills and experience with profitability analysis and pricing strategy
• High level of communication skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) in English
• Familiarity with working with Sales teams in a deal desk or commercial-selling function
• Capable of explaining concepts clearly and credibly across all levels of the organization
• Extensive experience discussing business issues with Sales management and collaborating with

all levels of sales teams

• Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively to drive results
• This person will be working in India time zone and would be located in the Salesforce office

location in Pune/ Gurugram.

• This role would need to support extended time during the month end closing activities and

Public holidays or High Volume periods on need to basis.

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Experience in SaaS pricing would be a Plus.
• Pricing Strategy, sales financial analysis, consulting, Procurement experience with in-depth

experience structuring pricing for mid-to-large contracts will also be considered.

• This role requires person with an eye for detail and good analytical skills and has to be

comfortable with numbers
