Job Title: Demand Planning Specialist

Location: Remote (US - CA)

Overview: As a Demand Planning Specialist , you will be responsible for overseeing Infrastructure demand plans to support mass production builds at data centers worldwide. Your primary focus will be on enabling forecasts and managing demand-related activities to optimize inventory management and mitigate supply chain risks. This role reports to the Planning & Capacity Enablement team within the Sourcing and Operations Engineering department.

Responsibilities

Own and understand end-to-end demand planning and forecasting requirements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency in forecast and demand inputs.
Utilize best methods and tools for creating forecasts and inventory targets.
Present supply and demand recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and timely decision-making.
Support the development and execution of Integrated Business Planning processes within the Infrastructure team.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of planning, inventory, and S&OP-like processes and systems.
Work with IT system developers to implement and validate new tools/systems.
Perform data analysis to drive process optimization and efficiency.
Develop and manage short and long-term supply and demand models to maintain service level requirements.
Review and analyze inventory target setting parameters for optimal inventory planning.
Partner with the inventory management team to align on inventory strategy and execution.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory optimization, and supply planning.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present to various levels of management and collaborate cross-functionally.
Proficiency in analytical tools like MS Excel, Google Sheets, and Power BI.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in project management and Production/Planning MRP.
Understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain Management processes.
Experience writing SQL queries or a quantitative background.
