Job Title: Deputy PM/Operations Manager - Federal Projects
Duration: Fulltime

Role Overview: Join us as the Deputy PM/Operations Manager, steering the helm of day-to-day operational activities. Collaborate closely with a dynamic team, engage with managers across the organization, present findings to stakeholders and executive management, and play a pivotal role in training and supervising new employees. Your impact will be felt in tracking and measuring staff performance, fostering innovation, and ensuring operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years managing large, complex IT projects/operations akin to the scope of this contract.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related discipline.
  • Possess a project management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PMgP), or equivalent Government certification.
  • Proven experience managing projects within environments like the CMS environment.
  • Proficient in managing and supervising employees of various labour categories in projects of similar size and scope.
  • Ability to implement innovative approaches to fulfil requirements and improve services or cut costs using current technologies.


Desirable Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership of complex tasks, including the review of work products for correctness, compliance with industry 'best practices,' and CMS standards.
  • Experience translating contract requirements into project plans and milestones, directing and implementing plans, and presenting formal project status/plan briefings to Government managers.
  • Familiarity with the CMS acquisition environment.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, with experience briefing executive, managerial, and technical staff.
