Job Title: IT Desktop Support Engineer

IT Desktop Support Engineer

High Level Job Duties

Supports CDR IT Support Teams efforts in providing desktop computer support to CDR Users and CDR on site contractors. Duties includes:

Provide users computer desktop support remotely and in person when required (under covid safety protocols),

Support government issued mobile phones and tablets including setup and configuration,

Provide on-site and remote support for iHub’s systems located throughout Texas

Install and maintain CDR computer equipment, printers, displays and other devices in accordance with manufacturers guidelines.

Contact equipment and software service providers as needed in order to support IT technical aspects of the CDR users.

Required Skills

Minimum of 5 years in hands-on desktop computer and technical support

Experience troubleshooting issues with PCs and peripherals

Experience with Active Directory administration

Experience supporting Office 365 and the MS Office Suite

Experience troubleshooting basic networking issues a plus

Experience supporting iPhones and iPads a plus

Customer service oriented

Professional demeanor

Able to convey technical details in layman’s terms to non-technical staff

Good written and oral communication skills

Able to lift 40 pounds

Assist the CDR team in the rollout of new or improved services such as the implementation of the Recovery AD environment, new Recovery desktop and laptop image, building of new desktop images, rollout of patches and updates. Other duties as required.
