Desktop Support Technician

Full Time Role

Job Description:

  • Provide user support and technical assistance for workstations and laptops running Microsoft Windows 10/11 operating systems and MAC OS platforms remotely and desk-side
  • Installation of client software like Microsoft Office, Java, various compilers etc.
  • Creating Profiles to users for customizing desktop settings
  • Create, modify and delete user accounts in Active Directory and on the Exchange server
  • Desktop Support/ troubleshooting up to Client Level including Hardware, Software and Networking Problems
  • Install, configure and maintain the regular updates of Antivirus/ EDR.
  • Install, Configure and Troubleshoot various PC Hardware Components.
  • Creating and building Helpdesk knowledgebase
  • Performing IT orientations, good knowledge on Auto pilot tools
  • Assume responsibility and ensure that computers and printers are ready for use
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience is highly desirable.
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work with remote teams, ability to work with customers directly, and must be willing to travel to customer locations in US as needed.
