Must Have Technical/Functional Skills           Technician handles all aspects of supporting the computing tools in use at the company. From preparing and deploying devices to troubleshooting and decommissioning tasks, the Digital Workplace Technician plays a key role. Additionally, the Digital Workplace Technician works directly with end users to answer questions and ensure devices are working correctly. Excellent Customer Service skills are essential for this role at all levels of competence.

Experience Required  7+ Years

Roles & Responsibilities         PC • Installs, configures and maintains equipment in the computing environment

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 level troubleshooting for the devices and supporting infrastructure

• Anticipate user needs and incorporate them into the overall support plan and activities

• Organize and coordinate work related to PC replacement, new hire and off board processes

• Identify research and resolve technical problems

• Document and track issues through resolution

Software • Install, configure and troubleshoot software utilizing manual and automated installation techniques

• Familiar with applications designed to manage large environments

• Able to learn and effectively utilize new applications and tools

• Operating systems – Windows (Mac desirable but not required)

• System Center experience – SCCM - client imaging

• Active Directory – Group management and scripts

• Scripting – PowerShell and others to automate tasks

• Microsoft Office, Outlook, Skype and Exchange

• Computer Networks (wired and wireless)
