Desktop Support Specialist

Job Description:
Expected Skills: Able to work without assistance; can provide limited leadership to others; able to manage medium complexity work efforts; may have industry experience.
 

• Facilitating the refresh of hardware (laptops & desktops, peripherals, etc.) to bring equipment current with county hardware and security policies.
• Will be directly responsible for reimaging existing laptops and desktops, as well as deploying new laptops and desktops (and accompanying peripherals) at multiple locations.

Skills:

• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds regularly.
• Large scale deployments of 500+ machines preferred (Nice to have)
• Must be able to stand and move around in classroom style setting daily.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, VPN client, Microsoft Office suite, and Windows 10.
