Developer (React Native, iOS / Android)

Job Duties: • Applications to be used: React Native The Opportunity: Work in a small, high performance agile team environment • sharing innovative ideas and working collaboratively across teams. • Perform React Native Application Development, Android, iOS development, maintenance and troubleshooting of React Native Application issues in commodity-level Technologies. • Must be able to work effectively both on teams as well as be self-motivated, task oriented and organized. • Strong customer focus and obsession with quality • Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment What are the top 3 skills needed/required? • React Native (Extremely proficient) • iOS / Android Development background • React Native and Native (android/iOS) Camera Management What skills and/or experience would separate the top candidate? What makes a candidate profile stand out to you? • More than 3 React Native applications in production. • Small- and large-scale deployments (single app development vs working in a team of multiple developers) • Worked with native and react native libraries. What will this person’s day-to-day responsibilities be? • Develop React Native wrappers for various Client applications. What is the project this person will be working on? • Digital Shelf Labels – Integrate scanning and computer vision technology into the enrollment of shelf labels How will they contribute to the project? • Developing react native applications from scratch to support the various capabilities. What is the makeup of the team? • We are 40+ but the project this role will be working with will be less than 5 engineers. Does the candidate need to be in a certain Client location/hub or remote? • Preferably Dallas. Will a Client badge be needed at onset or in the future? • Yes. Does this contract have the opportunity to extend or convert to an FTE?
