  • Job Description:
  • We are seeking a skilled Developer with a solid background in Oracle databases for a dynamic contract-to-hire position.
  • The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in Java development and a deep understanding of Oracle database technologies.
  • Proficiency in Snowflake development is highly desirable, with a secondary skill set in Python programming. Responsibilities:
  •  Develop and maintain applications with a focus on performance and scalability.
  •  Design, implement, and optimize Oracle database solutions for various projects.
  •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  •  Utilize Snowflake for data processing and analysis as per project requirements.
  •  Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Java applications, Oracle databases, and Snowflake implementations.
  •  Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends related to Java development, Oracle databases, and Snowflake. Requirements:
  •  Bachelor?s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  •  Experience with Snowflake development and Oracle databases.
  •  Proficiency in Python programming language for scripting and automation tasks.
  •  Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  •  Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  •  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
  •  Flexibility to work in either Jersey City, NJ, or McLean, VA, with a preference for Jersey City. Note: While Snowflake development will not come into play for a few months, a strong background in Oracle databases is essential for this role. Candidates should be comfortable transitioning to Snowflake development as projects evolve.
