• Evolve, maintain, and secure the team's continuous build, integration, and deployment strategies and infrastructure using build.
• Automation and infrastructure provisioning tools.
• Implement and enforce the principles of modern, services-based system architecture within the engineering team.
• Sustainably drive the team towards the selection of appropriate tools, technologies, processes, and patterns.
• Help software engineering teams release higher-quality code, with greater confidence, faster and more often.
• Be an advocate and resource for DevOps principles and methodology.
• Hands-on experience using and administering build automation, continuous integration, and source code management tools (eg. Git or Perforce).
• Experience with Jenkins administration - node and cloud management, working knowledge of plugins and instances .
• Knowledge of using tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Saltstack.
• Experience or knowledge of modern scripting languages like Python, Node.js and Typescript, Powershell, or Groovy.
• Apply knowledge of AWS and Infrastructure-as-code tools to automate repetitive tasks.
• Monitoring, alerting, and reporting for enterprise-level infrastructure.
• A good understanding and appreciation of the Agile software development process.
• supporting & maintaining a 24/7 production environment (will be participation in on-call rotation) .
• Must be willing to travel to unanticipated Client locations.
• Minimum 5 years of experience required.
