DevOps Engineer

Job Overview:
The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) Enterprise Systems Department is seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team of innovators in driving advancements in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines for software development teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DevOps best practices and experience with GitLab, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and other related technologies. This individual will play a key role in modernizing our software development processes and infrastructure to achieve greater automation, scalability, and efficiency.

Responsibilities and Duties:
·        Collaborate with software development teams to understand current processes and identify areas for CI/CD implementation and improvement
·        Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple software projects
·        Automate deployment processes to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of software updates

Skills Matrix:
·        Proven experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineer role Required 5 Years
·        GitLab, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and other relevant tools and technologies Required 5 Years
·        Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation Required 5 Years
·        Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Bash, Python, or PowerShell Required 5 Years
·        Relevant Certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) Highly Desired
