Key responsibilities include:
Integrating security measures into DevOps processes

Automating security controls in CI/CD pipelines

Monitoring applications and infrastructure for security vulnerabilities

Conducting regular security assessments

Providing training on secure coding practices

Staying updated on new security technologies

CPA Initiatives And Advanced Tasks Include

Modernizing and automating the entire CI/CD pipeline from code check-in to deployment using best practices like Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Configuration as Code (GitOps), and Blue-Green and Canary Deployment Strategies

Implementing a "Shift Left" security approach by integrating security tools and automating security checks and compliance into the CI/CD pipeline

Providing comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting for the CI/CD pipeline

Engaging in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Conducting extensive code reviews and analysis, writing reports to determine adherence to industry standards and secure coding best practices, and providing solutions for any shortcomings found

Offering guidance and sharing knowledge with existing development staff
