Devops Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION: ALStream Tech is looking for DevOps Engineer for our Operations team. The candidate will be responsible architecting the infrastructure and work on day to day DevOps activities. He will be part of Agile development cycle and work close with different teams including R&D, operations and customer success teams.

KEY SKILLS:

• Cloud and virtualization based technologies (Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure.
• Linux/UNIX Administration
• Experience with managing Saas service
• Experience with incident management

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• On call support of production infrastructure and applications. Business hours support for development systems
• Scripting (BASH, Python, and Ruby) and building required automation and deployment tools.
• Support systems serving that have a web presence and maintain uptime.
• Implement infrastructure and architectural designs with close collaboration with engineering teams.
• Implement security best practices for data at rest and data in motion.
• Identifying requirements and implementing tools that aid in faster deployment and better administration.
• Working with cloud architects and developers to create supportable designs and debug problems.
• Knowledge of cloud monitoring tools and integrate them with application stack.
• Support development and testing environments on the cloud for customers.
• Creating knowledge articles and documentation to help internal teams and customers understand and leverage the systems capabilities.
