Job Description: 

As a DevOps Engineer, you won't just be part of the team, you'll be contributing to the design, innovating, troubleshooting, and delivering state-of-the-art cloud native capabilities. You will be supported as you contribute and continue to learn and grow as an Azure cloud expert. Day to day activities include automating solutions, maintaining knowledge base / run-books, troubleshooting, restoring service to applications, general assistance with projects, providing limited scheduled after-hours support as necessary.

What you will do as a DevOps Engineer:

 Azure Expertise - Implement robust zero trust architecture around identity and access management (IAM) and data encryption to ensure security.

  • Infrastructure Skills - You'll work with Terraform and Ansible for orchestration and software installation.
  • CI/CD Expertise - You'll build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Security Focus - Identifying and addressing infrastructure and application security vulnerabilities is key. Implement robust zero trust architecture around identity and access management (IAM) and data encryption to ensure security.
  • Monitoring Mastery - Set up robust monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. Create operational dashboards for proactive visibility.

What you will need to have:

Most important: 

  • 5+ years of Azure hands-on experience.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using **Azure DevOps** and **GitLab**.
  • Hands-on experience with **Terraform** for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Knowledge of Azure monitoring tools and operational dashboards.
  • Provide expertise on Azure Iaas/PaaS including Application Gateway, API Management, App Service, Azure Monitor, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure DevOps, Azure Storage, Azure Front Door.

Important but secondary to the items above:

  • Experience with **WebLogic** and **Apache**.
  • Strong understanding of Azure security practices.
  • Linux OS competence.
  • Agile mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative team player.

What would be great to have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree; Master's is preferred.
  • Ability to configure Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Familiarity with FISMA HIGH, FedRAMP HIGH, and/or Zero Trust Architecture.
  • Azure certifications: AZ-104, AZ-204 and AZ-400
