DevOps Engineer

The Role: Responsible for assisting the security, IT, compliance, front, middle, back-office investment team with technology improvements, process improvements and project implementations. Works closely with the business and development teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. Accountable for implementing strategic solutions that allow for continuous enhancements and improvements to the tools leveraged for investment decision making. Essential Job Functions: · Automate specific system operations to enhance efficiency and speed. (20%) · Work in unison with product development teams. (10%) · Fix operational issues, increasing cloud storage capacity to store more files and crucial corporate data. (50%) · Ensure the protection of data in systems by working with cybersecurity and IT staff to resolve infrastructure risks and deployment tasks. (20%) Experience and Education: · 6-7 years of experience required: Finance or investment systems knowledge; Experience managing large-scale projects; Cloud architecture/Azure knowledge. · Four-year degree required: Finance, Business Administration, MIS/programming or other related field, specialized training or equivalent work experience. Preferred Qualifications: · 8-10 years of experience preferred: Finance or investment systems knowledge; Agile/Scrum methodology. · Advanced degree preferred. · Licensing/Certification/Other: CFA and or relevant technical certifications preferred.
