DevOps Engineer

1. No German proficiency required.
2. Role is envisaged to be Onsite 100% in Munich.  Home Office until further notice.

Responsibilities

• Develop features and improvements to CI/CD and ALM DevOps tools such as Gitlab, Nexus and Jenkins
• Monitor and Manage Cloud and Kubernetes Deployments using aforementioned tools.
• Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders to ensure project delivery.
• Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance.
• Ensure Architecture is up-to-date and fit for purpose.
• Handle Incidents and issues with tools and solve technical problems of varying scope and complexity.

Requirements

• Professional experience with Gitlab, Jenkins and Nexus
• Professional experience with Scripting language such as JavaScript, Groovy, Python etc
• Professional experience and good know-how of Cloud, ideally Aws and related concepts such as Kubernetes, Helm and Docker.
• Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, sufficient for success in a remote and largely asynchronous work environment
• Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems
• Experience of working in Agile Methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with other modern DevOps Tools such as SonarQube, Ansible, Jira, Confluence etc.
• Experience in Monitoring tools such as Elastic or Splunk
