Devops Engineer

Our client in Philadelphia, PA is looking for a DevOps Engineer to support their busy team. This is a remote, contract to hire role supporting a well-known organization. Local candidates needed for hybrid requirements in the future.

Position Description:
·         Act in support of application development, testing and deployment with management of Azure DevOps, Jenkins and GCP CI/CD.
·         Work closely with Application development team to onboard applications on to CI/CD pipelines, provide guidance to users and act as a problem solver.
·         Ensure high availability of services including performance, security, and maintainability within DevOps Services.
·         Responsible for troubleshooting and debugging production issues across tech stacks and DevOps services.
·         Implement and enhance pipelines based on given requirements.

Required Skills:
•           A fundamental understanding of building and managing CI/CD Pipelines ideally via Jenkins, Azure DevOps or GCP Cloud Build.
•           Knowledge of Grafana, Nexus, Bitbucket, Sonatype Nexus, Ansible, Terraform, ELK and related.
•                     3+ years of experience as a system admin, with advanced knowledge and expertise of Linux/Windows operating system.
•           Advanced knowledge of scripting programming ideally within Linux shell or Powershell. 
•                     Experience within application development and solid understanding of SDLC.
•                     Familiarity with Java, C#, Javascript, and relevant build tools such as git.
•           Knowledge of  security procedures such as SAST, SCA, DAST. 
•          Knowledge of  SQL database including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.
