DevOps Engineer

Job Description:
Responsible for supporting and maintaining critical applications and related data processing platforms and services.

Owns and is accountable for application and platform SLA's against operational commitments Owns application security & compliance ensuring application & Data Integrity

Lead the operations of API governance platform (currently Apigee, hosted on Hybrid cloud in Azure/GCP), working in tandem with API Management Product owner and Cloud infrastructure architect, driving high performance, availability, resiliency, security and compliance of the platform operations. Role:

Drive using Azure DevOps to automate housekeeping reporting on Apigee Hybrid and Apigee SaaS Environments

Develop and Support a pluggable CICD API for Apigee Platform to facilitate onboarding, updating and decommissioning of APIs and adding apps access to APIs using approval process baked into the automation.

Drive Apigee Hybrid Upgrades and Bug Fixes

Ensure compliance with all application policies including HPA, security and code reviews across all applications and platforms within scope

Design and Develop automation to assist with reducing effort/manual tickets of the operational team(s) using GCP automation using languages like Python/Bash Shell/Go
