Devops Engineer

• Hands on Experience in creating Jenkins CI,CD Pipelines (starting with Branching strategy, tool chain integrations, creating pipeline stages, shared libraries and integrated gating features)
• Hands on Experience in spinning up Infra/Env using IaC- Terraform, preference is Containerized Cloud Platforms.
• Good experience in Troubleshooting , Monitoring and Alerting of Prod/ Non Prod Env as Post Deployment activity

Primary Responsibilities

•            Infrastructure design, development, testing and implementation

•            Support all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design code development and testing

•            Setup and maintain monitoring and alerting

•            Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities

•            Participate in an Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases every Sprint

•            Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure alignment with operational SLA’s

•            Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required

•            End to end ITSM support including change management, incident management and problem management

•            Mentoring and guiding the team members

•            Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements.

Required Qualifications:

•            Proven experience in 24×7 Production Support and ITSM Practices

•            Proven experience in Linux Distribution administration and troubleshooting (Ubuntu Server or RedHat/CentOS)

•            Proven hands-on experience in distributed server operations (build, break / fix, manage, patching, prod support)

•            Experience with Security Best Practices in DevOps (DevSecOps)

•            Experience with containers and cluster management tools is desired (Docker, Kubernetes)

•            Knowledge of monitoring tools, automation scripts, and overall automation to reduce manual efforts

•            Experience working with Open-Source technology such as Git/GitHub, OpenShift, Apache JMeter, or Python

•            Experience working in any CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) development (Circle CI or GitHub Actions).

•            Excellent written communication skills and ability to document technical content

•            A degree in computer science or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

•            Experience with testing automation (unit, integration, system, load).

•            Knowledge building Java backend services without a framework.

•            Experience in Kafka or other event streaming technologies.

•            Experience with writing python scripts.

•            Ability to work in a fast paced, fluid environment while maintaining adherence to standards and best practices.

•            Healthcare industry experience.
