DEVOPS ENGINER 10+ (W2 Position)

Role Description
 

This is a contract role for a DevOps Engineer, providing on-site support in the New York City Metropolitan Area. Responsibilities include designing and implementing software and infrastructure, managing releases, configuring automated pipeline, and collaborating with development teams to improve speed and reliability of software delivery.
 

Qualifications
 

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in DevOps, System Administration, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructures, preferably in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience with automation tools and languages, including but not limited to Shell, Python, and Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of networking, including TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, DNS, and Load Balancers.
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deep knowledge of application and infrastructure security, including IAM, key management, and network security.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ElasticSearch, and Grafana.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Certifications in DevOps or Cloud technologies are a plus.
