Role: DevOps Lead

The Opportunity:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced DevOps Lead!
Selected candidate will be required to:
Minimum of 5 years in a DevOps role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation).
Proficient in managing Kubernetes clusters.
Hands-on experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
Advanced proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
Familiarity with CircleCI or similar CI/CD tools.
Experience with SonarQube for code quality and security analysis.
Migration Experience: Proven track record of leading successful cloud migration projects.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certifications.
Additional Skills: Knowledge of other scripting languages (e.g., Bash), and experience with other cloud providers (e.g., GCP, Azure).
To succeed, this role’s responsibilities would involve:
AWS Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available, and secure AWS infrastructure.
Kubernetes Administration: Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters to orchestrate containerized applications.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain Terraform scripts to automate the provisioning of cloud resources.
Scripting and Automation: Utilize Python for automation tasks, configuration management, and infrastructure provisioning.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as CircleCI.
Code Quality and Security: Implement and maintain SonarQube for continuous code quality and security analysis.
Migration Projects: Lead cloud migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless transition of services.
Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of DevOps engineers, promoting best practices and continuous learning.
Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline processes and improve productivity.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor infrastructure and application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions proactively.
