DevOps Technical Manager

Job Summary

The DevOps Technical Manager is responsible for leading a team of DevOps engineers and driving the implementation Project within the customer. This role involves collaborating with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to streamline software delivery, automate processes, and ensure the stability and scalability of the infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of DevOps Engineers in India /Europe to help and govern on the deliverables
• DevOps Strategy: Develop and implement a the strategy agreed , if needed bring more efficiencies
• Automation Hands on : Manage and support automation tools and frameworks for build, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, configuration management).
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management : Help in developing collaboration between Hexaware and the customer stakeholders
• Governance and Control : Help in governance reporting ( weekly/Monthly), create presentations on solutions , status review
• Agile development: ensure Agile development practices are followed and as a Scrum master.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience in a DevOps or related role, with a minimum of 3-5 years of managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, practices, and tools.
• Proficiency with automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) will be a plus
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Language : English ( Proficient) , French ( intermediate) is a definite plus
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
