Experience Requirements

Expert level experience (typically 5 years) in medical or technical equipment operations and maintenance management

Extensive experience (typically 3 years) in the management of staff and services of a bioengineering program in a large hospital or complex academic medical center environment

Advanced electronic training including electronic theory and technology and familiarity with applicable regulatory and inspection agency requirements

Expert level knowledge of industry trends and current patient care equipment. Demonstrated experience applying new technology solutions to business and healthcare problems

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate technical principles and ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences

Demonstrated job-related experience with and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic environment

Desired Qualifications

Master of Science degree in engineering or biomedical engineering with a clinical engineering concentration is highly desirable
