JOB DESCRIPTION This position is responsible for overall management of the Information Technology Department and strategic planning of technology systems for U.S. operations along with directing the local SAP IT Application support team. This position will travel up to 15% of the time. International travel required. Normal business hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Schedule needs to be flexible to accommodate internal and external customer’s schedules. Responsibilities: Collaborate with Germany on IT strategies and U.S. technology needs. Provide support and guidance for the SAP IT Applications support team. Develop and lead IT communication strategies. Manage, direct, and assign priorities and resources to projects to ensure attainment of IT goals and objectives. Analyze complex business needs, and develop and implement technical solutions. Facilitate and support internal digitalization initiatives and the creation of a modern work team. Oversee technology applications and evaluate effectiveness against established goals. Support global IT standards and policies and systems to reinforce corporate strategies and goals. Oversee systems of internal controls, emergency and backup procedures, proper licensing, system upgrades, and disaster recovery plans to ensure integrity of information, security of databases, and internal network access control. Develop and control IT budget. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field 10 years of experience leading IT strategy and operations; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
