Disaster Recovery Architect

About the Role:

Title:    Disaster Recovery/Infrastructure Solution Architect

Must Have:

• AWS & Azure experience as cloud experience is required.
• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering, with a strong understanding of cloud technologies, virtualization, networking, storage, and backup/recovery solutions.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing disaster recovery infrastructure.
  • Expertise in scripting languages and automation tools.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and best practices in disaster recovery.

Day to Day

Disaster Recovery Strategy and Design:
• Own the technical vision for the disaster recovery infrastructure, including architecture, technology selection, and implementation roadmap.
• Design and implement robust disaster recovery plans, ensuring alignment with business continuity objectives.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats and mitigation strategies.

Infrastructure Management and Automation:
• Architect and implement disaster recovery infrastructure, encompassing servers, storage, networks, and cloud resources.
• Automate disaster recovery processes to minimize downtime and ensure rapid recovery.
• Manage and maintain backup and replication systems for critical data.
