DOMO Database Developer

The Job
The Database Developer, Principal provides expertise in the development of new and existing products, services and processes. The Database Developer, Principal understands customer needs and translates them into technical solutions. Also provides leadership to members of the Product Development teams.

What you will be doing

• Proficient Domo platform development and implentation of Domo for analytics in out Retail Application
   
• Involvement int our ETL pipelines
• Utilizing Domo functionalities to meet business needs
• Guide and provide mentorship to less experienced team members

What you will likely bring

• 8+ years of Database Administration and Development experience
• Working with Domo and ideally Domo certified
• Experience with Domo application including ETL, Cards, Dashboards, Domo Everywhere and embed 
• Extensive experience with Database performance optimization
• Ability to communicate and interface with technical and non-technical members of the team on designing and implementing solutions for integration of our retail application with Domo
• Agile and Scrum methodologies and best practices

What could set you apart

• 10+ years progressive experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
• 4+ years of specialized/industry experience, ideally in Retail.
• Experience with Data Warehouse and Data Warehouse DB technologies such as snowflake or similar.
• Python programming language experience
• NoSQL experience with DB technologies and specifically PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Database performance optimization
