Dotnet Developer

Our client is expanding and taking on some exciting and new projects! The development manager is adding a member to the Agile team to work on various web, mobile, and cloud projects around the enterprise. We have an immediate need for a Full Stack .NET Developer on a collaborative team of 6. The role will involve working with full stack web and mobile applications and developing microservices to support them. As a Software Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in building performant, scalable, and reusable components using React and .NET Core/C#. You’ll collaborate closely with product owners, UX designers, and fellow engineers to translate designs into clean, functional code. Curiosity and a customer-focused mindset are encouraged, as many features will be piloted in real-world use cases. Your goal will be continuous optimization of usability, security, and performance. Responsibilities:

Develop and refactor code on the backend using .NET 6.0/.NET Core

Develop and modernize code on the frontend using JavaScript and React

Write performant, maintainable, and testable code with test automation

Practice Agile development methodologies

Collaborate with the development team in Agile standups

Build out APIs using REST

Maintain the existing code base using .NET

Create basic queries and procedures using a SQL database

Consult with product teams and end-users to prototype, refine, test, and debug solutions

Technical Environment: .NET Core, React, JavaScript, REST APIs, SQL, CICD, Microservices, and more

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or higher in an Engineering or Science field, or related work experience

Ability to communicate effectively to multiple teams

Experience with .NET Core development

Experience with React using JavaScript

Experience with APIs (REST)

Experience with SQL (SQL Server and Entity Framework)

Software Engineering knowledge and understanding of common terminology

Must be able to work on a W-2 without sponsorship
