Ecommerce Developer

Role: Optimizely Ecommerce Developer
Location: Remote Role
Duration: 6+ months Contract
Note: Only USC and GC are accepted

Position Overview:

•   As an Optimizely Ecommerce Developer, you will lead the technical development and implementation of ecommerce solutions using Optimizely's platform. Drawing on your deep understanding of Optimizely's technology stack and ecommerce best practices, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize ecommerce websites that drive business growth and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

•   Lead the technical design and development of ecommerce solutions using Optimizely Commerce Cloud.
•   Develop custom features, integrations, and extensions to enhance the functionality and performance of Optimizely ecommerce websites.
•   Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
•   Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation within the team.
•   Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in ecommerce and digital experience optimization.

Qualifications:

•   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
•   5+ years of experience in web development, with a focus on ecommerce platforms and Optimizely's technology stack.
•   Expertise in Optimizely CMS and Optimizely Commerce Cloud, including proficiency in configuration, customization, and extension development.
•   Strong knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
•   Experience with back-end development using languages like Python, Ruby, or Node.js.
•   Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
•   Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
