Support of all EDI systems including ITX, TMDS, EAI, SAPTM, Customer Portals, and other EDI focused applications.
Gather requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, design thinking, task and workflow analysis
Reviews and analyzes system problems to identify solutions or recommendations
Work with EDI, IS, and business teams to understand and document business process requirements, analyzing and validating for automation feasibility; assisting the core automation team in creating the business case
Perform testing, identify issues concerning solution performance, communicate required changes to the development team, and track resolution
System requirement identification and documentation analysis
Plan and facilitate workshops to identify and validate requirements with IS and business stakeholders in support of projects and opportunities
Build knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers
Solve a range of straightforward problems; analyze possible solutions using standard procedures
Receive a moderate level of guidance and direction
Leads process mapping/modeling and translates requirements into design
May be required to work irregular hours (weekends, after business hours)
May be required to perform on-call duties

REQUIREMENTS:
Experience gathering requirements, capturing working flows, and user acceptance testing of EDI systems
Excellent communication skills
EDI experience – transportation industry or railroad industry (highly preferred)
Experience with X12 EDI Standards
Knowledge of customer-facing EDI transactions and acknowledgments
Business analyst or project management, or equivalent experience
Process mapping and project management methodology
Ability to communicate effectively, strong written and oral skills to respond to internal and external requests for information
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills
Working with business stakeholders regarding process, procedure, and policy development or creation
