Title: EDI Mainframe Engineer

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (REMOTE)

EDI Mainframe Developer with the following skill set:

• COBOL + DB2 development experience is preferred. Application development experience in Design, coding, testing, and debugging with mainframe skills such as CICS, VSAM, COBOL, DB2, JCL, SCLM.
• EDI knowledge is a must.
• Should be able to write queries to interact with DB2.
• Execute various forms of testing – unit, system, regression, integration.
• Should have knowledge of promoting code to production using any of the tools, good to have SCLM and IN-SYNCH.
• Manages all aspects of implementation planning & coordination.
• Ability to provide and implement technical solutions to a wide range of problems.
• Experience in fixing job abends and working on minor enhancements.
• Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for the design, build, implement the minor enhancements.
• Should be willing to learn new technologies and collaborate with the team.
• Hands on experience on IBM Sterling Integrator version 5.2.6 preferred
• Knowledge and experience in developing, maintaining, supporting, and monitoring of EDI IBM Sterling integrator preferred
• Good Knowledge and hands on experience in business process development preferred.
