Edifecs Developer

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare integration using Edifecs tools.
• Proven experience in route development for data integration.
• Strong understanding of healthcare data standards (HIPAA, HL7, X12, FHIR).
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, XML, and SQL.
• Experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) processes and transactions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Edifecs certification.
• Experience with cloud-based integration solutions.
• Knowledge of other integration tools (Mirth Connect, Cloverleaf, etc.).
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using Edifecs tools (XEngine, SpecBuilder, TM, and EAM).
• Design and implement routes for seamless data exchange between healthcare systems.
• Collaborate with business analysts, system architects, and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (HIPAA, HL7, etc.).
• Optimize and enhance existing integration processes for performance and scalability.
• Document integration processes, data flows, and system configurations.
• Provide technical support and maintenance for integration solutions.
