Description

The eDiscovery Analyst will assist in providing recommendations to the legal and eDiscovery teams on best practices around the preservation, collection, and transferring of employee data. The iSOC/eDiscovery Analyst will also assist in the development and implementation of eDiscovery policies, procedures, and workflows across.

Additionally, this position will require collaboration and coordination with the eDiscovery team, in-house legal teams, outside counsel, vendors, and internal business clients. The eDiscovery Analyst will also collaborate with IT staff on the maintenance and administration of all current and future forensic tools. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Forensic imaging of employee laptop hard drives 
  • Forensic imaging of employee mobile phones 
  • Implementing and managing litigation holds in O365 by leveraging the O365 Security and Compliance functionality 
  • Defensibly tracking the intake, imaging, inventorying, and return of assets and evidence consistent with eDiscovery and Information Security tracking and Chain of Custody best practices 
  • Transfer of data using FTP to third parties including validation, reporting and tracking 
  • Leveraging the necessary IT, Active Directory, and mobile management systems to gain access to laptop and mobile phone assets for purposes of imaging 
  • Producing monthly incident reports 
  • Collaboration with line of business technical teams for issue resolution and mitigation 

 

Additional Knowledge & Skills 

  • Demonstrable experience with forensic collections tools such as Guidance Software (EnCase) and/or FTK (Forensic Tookit) and Cellebrite 
  • Ability to think strategically, work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail 
  • Ability to follow detailed process and procedure documentation 
  • Ability to present complex solutions and methods to non-technical people 
  • Must possess detailed planning and organizational skills 
  • Experience managing client expectations and working with clients to minimize their risk exposure 
  • Must establish compliance with all directives for secured handling of employee data 
  • Must work as part of a team and be able to manage complex relationships with all stake-holders 
  • Must be well organized, a strong communicator, detail oriented, demonstrate good judgment, be confident working independently 
  •  Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including, executives, managers, and subject matter experts 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • 5 - 7 years of relevant experience 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
