Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product specifications and requirements.
  • Develop schematics, select components, and design PCB layouts for electrical systems.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop embedded firmware for microcontrollers and processors.
  • Implement communication protocols and integrate sensors and actuators into the firmware.
  • Debug and optimize firmware code for performance and reliability.
  • Build and test prototypes to validate design concepts and functionality.
  • Conduct thorough testing and analysis to identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with the testing team to ensure product quality and reliability.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to transition designs from prototyping to production.
  • Provide technical support during the production phase and address any hardware or firmware-related issues.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the availability of quality components.
  • Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and firmware documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of design changes and revisions.
     

Qualifications

 

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in hardware and firmware design.
• Proficiency in hardware design tools (e.g., Altium, Eagle) and firmware development languages (e.g., C, C++).
• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuits, microcontrollers, and communication protocols.
• Experience with design verification, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
