What To Expect
Client seeks an Electrical Construction Project Manager for a groundbreaking Engineering-Procurement-Construction endeavor, overseeing the construction of a SEMI production facility in Austin, TX. You'll lead an internal team of electricians amidst a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Essential qualities include a passion for advancing energy sustainability, problem-solving prowess teamwork orientation, and a positive work ethic. In this role, you'll manage construction projects, collaborate cross-functionally, and ensure adherence to schedule and budget.
What You'll Do
- Lead a team consisting of Project Coordinators, Buyers, Superintendents, and craft.
- Promote a safe and quality driven culture, both project and companywide.
- Conduct constructability reviews of design packages.
- Employ a can-do attitude, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged and aligned to the project’s goals.
- Identify project risks and opportunities and actively manage through-out the project life cycle.
- Ensure Quality Assurance and Quality Control requirements are achieved.
- Interface with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and commissioning teams.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of experience in the electrical field and 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager.
- Previous experience on $25M+ project.
- Ability to provide material take offs and estimates from construction drawings.
- Ability to read, interpret, and manage wiring diagrams.
- Proficiency in Construction baseline development, change control, cost/schedule performance and variance analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills.
