Functional Safety (FuSa) Software Group (Multi-Domain - Combustion, Hybrid, TCU, XCU, VCU, EV, INV, DC-DC, BMS)

The team is involved in developing safety concepts, implementation and testing of safety software requirements according to ISO26262, an automotive safety standard defined for E/E systems.

With the trend of increasing technological complexity, software content and mechatronic implementation, there are increasing risks from systematic failures and random hardware failures. ISO 26262 includes guidance to avoid these risks by providing appropriate requirements and processes.

Job Description:

Executing requirement analysis, Function/ Software development in ASCET/MATLAB, and testing for Function Safety or monitoring subsystem in the Engine Management ECU

  • (Mandatory) Hands-on software development experience in any Automotive Function Safety (FuSa) domain
  • (Mandatory)Hands-on experience in programming in 'C' and/or assembly for real-time embedded system
  • (Mandatory)Hands-on experience in Engine Management System (EMS) function development using ASCET/MATLAB, Requirement Based Testing techniques, and Change Based Testing Techniques
  • (Mandatory) Practical customer coordination skills and very good communication
  • (Mandatory)Able to solve the technical problems/Queries independently with minimum customer interaction
  • Experience in using testing tools and application tools like TPT, RTRT, INCA/ES590, LabCar, Canalyzer, etc
  • Need to have a passion for automotive engineering
  • Flexibility and readiness to travel onsite if required by the customer
  • German Knowledge would be an additional advantage
