Description

A MPLS, MN Client seeks an End User Technician.   This position will be part of the Device Management and Engineering function responsible for end-user, mobile, conference room and other device technologies. The job entails responding to Incidents and other request tickets, configuring and deploying hardware and software. Broad technology experience and good communication, organization and customer service skills are required. The position will work within a team of 6-8 other technicians and engineers under the direction of the Device Management leader. Daily interactions with ServiceNow, the Service Desk, remote support tools and standard practices and policies are expected. DUTIES: Support end-user hardware and software. Support mobile, conference room and other devices. Operate in a near-100% wireless environment. Provide application and configuration packaging through automation. Support new standard development and lifecycle management. Consistently update for visibility asset, ticketing, queues and other management tools. IT staff and other stakeholder end-user interactions, training and communication. Assist in governance process associated with developing and adopting written Policies, Standards, and Procedures. Other Duties as may be assigned. Projected Start: 1/1/2024 for initial one-year engagement with possible extensions. MANDATORY SKILLS: 3 years' end user support experience, including Windows, iOS, AWS, AD, Group Policy Management, Microsoft 0365 and other applications. Experience with multi-media applications and Microsoft Teams Room technology. Able to manage diverse work prioritization across routine tickets, software problems and project work. Ability to work within a team and shift priorities as needed. Experience with software packaging, distribution and automation tools. Quickly able to learn and leverage new technologies. Experience with ServiceNow as a workflow tool. Exoerience managing OLA, SLA and customer satisfaction   NICE-TO-HAVE: Bachelor's Degree Industry and technical certifications; AWS, AD, CCNA, ITIL, etc. Able to represent IT standards effectively to end-user audience. Able to contribute to continuous improvement efforts, evolving standards and architectures. Experience working with media walls, monitors and media players. Experience working in the Aviation or Transportation sector
