Engineer Devops (Azure)

What You’ll Do

Design, implement, maintain, and support cloud infrastructure environments overseeing day-to-day operational support.
Effectively manage and troubleshoot server/platform issues.
Collaborate closely with project delivery operations and functional teams within a team-oriented framework.
Conduct OS-level configuration, offering maintenance support for both Windows and Linux environments.
Evaluate and monitor the performance of cloud-based infrastructure, applications, and shared resources.
Keep a vigilant eye on security patches, fixes, updates, and ensure adherence to vulnerability and compliance reporting.
Be prepared for 24x7 support and on-call responsibilities.

What You’ll Need

Hands-on to Azure cloud environment(s) – PaaS / IaaS 
Should have extensive experience in Cloud based applications / tools / services using Azure / AWS.
Deployment, provisioning and life cycle management of Azure services such as Azure WebApp, VMs, Storage, Network, Security etc. 
Hands-On experience in managing CDN (Akamai, CloudFlare)
Hands-On experience on Windows server, Linux servers and Web server related tasks.

What’s Good To Have

Proficient in utilising DevOps tools within the Azure Cloud environment.
Extensive expertise in cloud automation, employing Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD.
Skilled in application containerization, Kubernetes cluster administration and management
Practical experience in managing Content Delivery Networks (CDN), including Cloudflare and Akamai
Hand-on scripting proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Bash
In-depth knowledge of cloud monitoring and alerting tools such as NewRelic, Prometheus, Azure Monitor and Grafana
Familiarity with EFK log management solutions.
Robust experience with infrastructure and platform sizing, coupled with expertise in infrastructure cost reduction.
Experience in Disaster Recover (DR) strategies for building highly available applications.
Skilled in the application of agile methodologies and possessing expertise in overseeing agile teams.
Demonstrates outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a willingness to mentor new team members.
Proficient in web server administration, possessing strong skills in Windows, Linux, and networking.
Hands-On experience in DNS management.
