Description:
Plans and organizes the activities in support of day-to-day and after-hours support for
Communication Operations including but not limited to the diagnosing, configuring and
documenting complex communication problems. Responds to unexpected communication
issues affecting the health system's clinical and administrative communities. Maintains
communication monitoring systems.
Job Responsibilities
• Plans and organizes the activities of day-to-day and after hours support of communication operations 24/7/365.
• Coordinates the daily engineer team assignments to include but not limited to; incident management, device configuration reviews, and change control management.
• Reports metrics for proactive and predictive analysis.
• Implements recommendations based upon these metrics to drive improved communication performance and availability.
• Responsible for managing assigned Incident and Change queues, and ensures that they are meeting established Service Level Agreements.
• Ensures change management procedures are followed.
• Maintains communication monitoring systems.
• Implements recommendations for resources required to maintain and improve service levels.
• Ensures all documentation is accurate and up to date; provides training and documentation to team as needed.
• Uses knowledge and skills to contribute to the development of functional objectives and principles to achieve goals in innovative ways. Problems addressed are of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Job Experience & Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience and progressive experience where team leadership was demonstrated, required.
Preferred Skillsets:
• CCNP/CCIE equivalent level of network engineering, troubleshooting
• MCSE equivalent level of Windows server engineering, troubleshooting
• Linux knowledge, equivalent to CompTIA's Linux+, Red Hat's RHCSA, or Oracle Linux OCP
• Virtualization with VMware, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
• Cloud experience with GCE, AWS, Azure, including building and deploying apps, network engineering, etc.
• Full stack application development, various frontend and backend frameworks and runtimes
• JavaScript, Node, Angular
• .Net, ASP.NET
• MSSQL, MongoDB
• REST APIs
• Monitoring tools experience, SolarWinds, ServiceNow
• SNMP
• Project management, including Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps
• ITIL
• Proficient in HTML & CSS
Any Graduate
