Description

Design and implement robust ETL processes. Extract data from diverse sources, transforming it according to the target schema, and efficiently loading it into the destination system.

Develop and maintain data integration workflows, job scheduling, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure the timely and accurate execution of ETL processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including database administrators and system administrators, to optimize database performance and ensure seamless integration with the target system.

Analyze data requirements and ensure accurate mapping and transformation of the data. Understand the source data structures, define data transformation rules, and validate the integrity and consistency of the migrated data. Work with DataStage, Oracle, DB2 UDB, flat files, Teradata, Data Modeler, CSV, SQL server, SSMS, SSIS. 40 hrs/wk. Must have Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electr Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field (will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of progressive post baccalaureate experience in lieu of Masters). Must have 6 months experience (or 6 months experience as Software Developer, or related occupation).  Must have 6 months experience working with ETL processes, DataStage, Oracle, DB2 UDB, flat files, Teradata, CSV, SQL server, SSMS. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time. Telecommuting permitted.
